With added blood
Today we had our first blood involved accident..
Luckily I didnt panic (it wasn't panic worthy).. But I did call my mum! Lol.
My poor baby was playing away, standing up and pushing his little drum across the floor, when I see he tumble over and land on his back...
I didn't rush to his aid, as this is a normality for us.... He cried as he usually does, angry at me for not saving him (i couldn't if I tried) .. But as I lool at him, I spot blood on his tooth..
To be honest,my first thought as I scoop him up is.. "F**k sake Elijah!"
He's screaming.. Im semi panicking.. But keeping calm... Grab some wet tissue.. Hold it on his tooth to stop the bleeding and call MY mum...
My first instinct..... Call Mum. Lol.
Anywho, after speaking to my mother and explaining wat had happend.. If I need to take a trip to A&E .. My mum assures me if he's fine (which he was, he was already trying to fight me so he can go play).. And his tooth is not wobbly.. There's no need to worry... Jus simply keep an eye on the injury.
In the end, it wasnt as tragic as my mind told me it wuld be. My sons a tough cookie. And it seems ima always turn to my mum (or nan) to advice me on how to handle MY mummy duties...

Milestone Moment: Crawling
At 7 months (on my birthday) he made his first crawling movement, which was really him dragging himself across the floor military style, but proud moment all the same.
So now at 9 months, my son is an established crawler. Nothing can stop him! and this is where my problem lies.
For the past nine months i've moaned constantly about him NOT crawling, and now he IS. Oh how i wish he WASN'T!!
Its cute how now he follows me, comes looking for me etc. But the luxury of leaving him in one place, going off to make his bottle, food or whatever, peacefully, and coming back to collect him from that same position he was left in has LONG GONE!!
Oh how i wish my child wouldn't cry while chasing me (he's a quick mover), then tug on my trouser leg while attempting to bite me for my attention when i'm just simply trying to tend to his needs.
That would be nice..
